Why aren’t I seeing visible results with my fat loss?

A recently trending question that many are asking themselves is why they aren’t seeing noticeable results from their fitness and weight loss plans. This question is becoming more and more common in modern day society so consequently, it should addressed more. Two areas to be noted here for physical improvement are muscle development (firming, tightening, toning, growth), and of course weight loss. Many suspect that doing what they feel is enough, is enough flat out. The reality is much different.

Training in the morning in a fasted state is GREAT for elevated energy levels

So it’s been a bit quite lately

I haven’t posted anything in around a month.
Why is that you ask?
Well, you probably don’t ask at all and are quite happy to read more influential guff such as Brown Cardigan – but hey, I’ll tell you anyway.

I’m prepping for my wedding and I’m also working with Rusty Moore on hopefully something BIG enough to write home about. Read the rest of this entry »

Eating every 2-3 hours to avoid muscle loss and preventing your metabolism from slowing down

Ok, so I haven’t written a post for a while.
There’s been a distinct lack of gimmick-busting, blunt, condescending blather since my absence.

Gym douche-bags globally, have had the chance to ‘shine’ in my absence whilst others training with shakes-weights have forgotten exactly WHY they’re considered borderline retarded.

Don’t worry – I’m back in full force, ready to unleash a tirade of semi-interesting drivel upon those that give one eighth of a sh*t.

So today’s posty is solely focused on the title (funnily enough) and as to why the entire notion that eating every 2-3 hours to avoid muscle loss and to prevent your metabolism from slowing down is a complete load of bull and every sh*t it’s ever done. Read the rest of this entry »

Possibly the most controversial and most talked about topic floating around the interwebs of late is that of meal frequency especially when it concerns intermittent fasting. Let’s try and get to the bottom of the question ‘How often should you eat, snack and should you skip breakfast?’.

How many meals a day should you be eating?

According to pretty much everyone I know that’s ‘built’ and works in a gym, they’ll tell you that in order to build mountains of muscle, you need to be drip-feeding your body with 30grams of protein hand-prepared by virgins at any given moment. Forget 6-8 meals a day, I’m talking ingesting protein between breathes of air.

Q & A: What dieting method works best when coupled with Visual Impact?

This week I received an email from Idris.
He writes…

Q:“Hi Clint, firstly congrats with the results on the program. I have just bought the Visual Impact program and also Eat Stop Eat.
My question is during phase 1 did you follow Eat Stop Eat or Lean Gains? Or were you just eating at maintenance? As I am under the impression that during this phase it is more about volume therefore you would need too consume more food/protein to add in repairing the muscles.
Also, did you follow the program to a t? or did you increase HIIT or an extra day or weights?
Anyway, congrats again and I hope you can help me with the above questions.”
