Why aren’t I seeing visible results with my fat loss?

A recently trending question that many are asking themselves is why they aren’t seeing noticeable results from their fitness and weight loss plans. This question is becoming more and more common in modern day society so consequently, it should addressed more. Two areas to be noted here for physical improvement are muscle development (firming, tightening, toning, growth), and of course weight loss. Many suspect that doing what they feel is enough, is enough flat out. The reality is much different.

It’s been a long time between drinks hasn’t it?

I haven’t written on here for a long, long time.
Laziness, awesomeness and a myriad of equally lame excuses have prevented me from finding something to talk about.

Pixel Demon

My Design business "Pixel Demon" has just been launched.

I’ve also started my own creative/design business called Pixel Demon which took a lot of spare time to setup.

Other than that…

Four things have happened to me since the start of December last year – and I thought it time to write about how they have affected my muscle retention, fat loss and training in general.

Then I’d thought I’d post my current training schedule so you can rip it apart and tell me how much better your one is than mine. Read the rest of this entry »

Eating every 2-3 hours to avoid muscle loss and preventing your metabolism from slowing down

Ok, so I haven’t written a post for a while.
There’s been a distinct lack of gimmick-busting, blunt, condescending blather since my absence.

Gym douche-bags globally, have had the chance to ‘shine’ in my absence whilst others training with shakes-weights have forgotten exactly WHY they’re considered borderline retarded.

Don’t worry – I’m back in full force, ready to unleash a tirade of semi-interesting drivel upon those that give one eighth of a sh*t.

So today’s posty is solely focused on the title (funnily enough) and as to why the entire notion that eating every 2-3 hours to avoid muscle loss and to prevent your metabolism from slowing down is a complete load of bull and every sh*t it’s ever done. Read the rest of this entry »

Q & A: Will Visual Impact give you serious muscle size?

This week I received an email from Mike.
He writes…

Q:“Hi Great Results man,I just had a quick question for you.
The biggest thing I want to get out of the Visual Impact workout is muscle size so phase 1 is very important to me and I want to make sure that I get everything right. I noticed that he tells you to do a pyramid set 12,10,8,6,12 for the first exercise and then says do 4 sets with same weight for the next few exercises.

What rep scheme should I use? I’ve heard that you just repeat the pyramid rep scheme but how can you do the pyramid in 4 sets?
It takes 5 sets to do the pyramid.
Did you do the pyramid for each exercise? If so did you find it effective in getting you muscle size in your arms and chest?
Would you say that your biceps and triceps got a lot bigger and harder after this program?

Thank You so much for your help sir,
Sincerely,
Mike”

Rusty Moore's Visual Impact for Women

If you’ve been following this site, you’ll know I don’t endorse many fitness related products on the market. In fact, I more often than not recommend that you don’t need a bunch of expensive sh*t in order to reach your fitness goals.

However, you’re also probably aware that I achieved some pretty awesome results with Visual Impact for men recently (if not, check this out here >)

Rusty Moore is about to launch Visual Impact for Women: A Workout for The Slim Feminine Physique!
It uses the same philosophy as the program I used to get in great shape, but is targeted at the ladies.

“So over 8 million visits & 20,000 comments later…I have finally created the
course I have been thinking about creating for the past 10 years.”

Rusty gave me a sneak-peak of the program, and I can tell you, it’s pretty impressive.
