You can’t put an old head on young shoulders
For the most part this is true.
Trial and error when it comes to physical exercise and dieting is something which not only makes you wiser, but also debunks your own set of pre-conceived ideas.

What works for some, doesn’t work for others.
Unfortunately, determining what is in fact working, isn’t always that easy.

Here, I’ll point out the mistakes I’ve made over the past 10 years.
This will hopefully help you become more discerning, and also cut out some of your own guess-work.

How often should you be going to the gym?

Seems like a pretty open-ended question doesn’t it.
I’m going to try and answer it without coming across all wishy-washy and fluffy like a huge wishy-washy, fluffy thing.

A lot of articles you’ll read on the subject will answer the question like a politician.
They’ll skate around the ACTUAL question without ever actually answering it.

Is it ok to exercise when you’re feeling sick and run down?

Are you after the answer you want to hear or the one which will see you resting your sorry ass on the couch for at least a week.

There is a grey area involved for anyone that’s powering through their exercise routine on a 3 to 4 day basis each week.
We don’t want to stop for anything. Let alone a pesky bacterial cling-on who has made it’s home in our nasal passage.
